Rasika Agash was born in Pune.
She received her education from SNDT Kanyashala, Pune and went to Fergusson College for her graduation. She has been acting in theater since her school days. Even before her graduation, she got admission in the National School of Drama (NSD), Delhi. While at NSD, she studied drama and participated in various plays in Hindi, Marathi, Sanskrit and English. After graduating from NSD, Rasika stayed in Delhi to work in theater for a few years. Thereafter, she moved to Mumbai.

Rasika comes from a Hindu family. Little is known about her family. She married Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub on September 12, 2007. The couple has a daughter, Raahi.
Profession
Rasika started her acting career by appearing in plays. Her first commercial drama in Marathi was Popatpanchi. She subsequently appeared in Chaheta, Harus Marus, Sat Bhashe Raidas, Hum Panchi Lehron Ke, The Wedding Album and Iss Kambakht Sathe Ka Kya Karein? ” and other plays.
As a director, Aghash has directed plays such as “The Collaborator”, “Harus Marus”, “Museum – Dangerous Spice” and “Sanhitamach’s Raidas”.
Rasika has also appeared in films such as “BHK” [email protected]”, “1 Te 4 Band” and “Mere Pyare Premier”.
She plays a prison guard in the Netflix Hindi web series Sccop (2023).
