I don’t come from a musical family, but I come from a family of talented bathroom singers. Singing and writing are my escape and how I find security and meaning in the world, especially when I’m going through sad or difficult times. It’s not always easy to be an eldest son in the United States, or a first-generation child who has survived and grown up with parents who have been here for generations and are more settled than my classmates, which isn’t always easy. That environment can cause you a lot of stress and confusion, and you have to deal with it on your own. “

She has a very elegant philosophy in everything she does. “
