Ravindrasinh Anirudhsinh Jadeja is an Indian professional cricketer. He is an all-rounder who plays as a left-handed batsman and a left-arm orthodox bowler.

Ravindra Jadeja was born on Tuesday, December 6, 1988 in Navagam Ghed, Gujarat (35 years old as of 2023). His zodiac sign is Sagittarius. He grew up in a middle-class family in Jamnagar, Gujarat.
His father wanted him to become an army officer, but he was more inclined towards cricket. He started training for games while still in school. At just 16 years old, he was selected for the Indian U-19 national team.

Ravindra Jadeja was born into a Hindu family. His father Anirudhsinh Jadeja is a caretaker at a private security agency. His mother, late Lata Jadeja, was a nurse. He has two sisters. His sister Naina is a nurse.
Jadeja married Rivaba Solanki on April 17, 2016. The couple has a daughter, Nidhyana, who was born in 2017.

Jadeja started his cricket career in 2005 by participating in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup. India finished second but Jadeja impressed everyone by taking 3 wickets against Pakistan in the final. He was the vice-captain of the 2008 World Cup winning Indian U-19 cricket team in Malaysia. Ravindra made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka on February 8, 2009, scoring an unbeaten 60 off 77 balls. In the third ODI against Sri Lanka in Cuttack, he was awarded the Man of the Match for taking 4 wickets. He made his Test debut in December 2012 against England in Nagpur. On July 20, 2015, he scored his first 50-run game against England. On January 22, 2017, Ravindra became the first to take 150 wickets in one-day internationals after dismissing Sam Billings at Eden Gardens in Kolkata Indian left-arm spinner of the wicket. In the same year, Jadeja became the number one bowler, overtaking Ravichandran Ashwin who had previously held the position. His first Test century came against West Indies at Rajkot in 2018. In March 2019, he became the third Indian cricketer to score 2,000 runs and take 150 wickets in ODIs.

Jadeja has also played in First-Class Cricket and IPL. He was auctioned by the Chennai Super Kings for $2 million in the 2012 IPL auction. In 2016, when Chennai Super Kings were banned from the IPL for two seasons, Jadeja was bought by the Gujarat Lions for Rs 95 crore in the 2016 IPL player auction. He plays for Saurashtra cricket team in first-class cricket.

- Jadeja became the first Indian bowler to top the ICC ODI Bowlers rankings after former captain Anil Kumble achieved pole position in 1996.
- Ravinder is the only Indian cricketer to score three triple centuries in first-class cricket.
