A backstage row at the NTAs got everyone talking as close friends Faye Winter and Maura Higgins clashed in front of celebrity guests.
Now The Sun can reveal the real reason behind their expletive-filled exchange, which all started over a £1,000 pair of Christian Louboutin shoes.

The Love Island stars – who bonded after Faye left the villa in 2021 – partied together as guests of suntan brand Fake Bake.
After the NTAs finished, Maura and Faye continued their night at the star-studded after party at the O2.
But the mood changed after a misunderstanding between the glamorous stars.
An onlooker told The Sun: “Faye’s feet were killing her after a long night of partying.
“When a fan came to take a picture with her, she took them off for the shoot and threw them at Maura.
“One shoe bounced off the floor and hit Maura as she fell onto the sofa next to her.
“Unfortunately, Maura wasn’t impressed and was shouting ‘what the hell are you doing’ – but it was all a big misunderstanding.
“Faye didn’t mean anything bad, she just took bad aim because she had a few drinks.
“Before anyone knew what was happening, the two of them were rowing at the bar in front of all the other guests because Maura refused to let it go.”
As The Sun revealed yesterday, Maura, 32, was heard calling the show’s seventh star Faye, 28, a “silly cow”.
Faye said on Instagram after the news broke: “I mean most days he calls me a silly cow and he’s not wrong.”
Meanwhile, Maura, who was on Love Island 2019, tried to distance herself from the incident – insisting it was a “passionate conversation”, adding: “There’s no drama here.”
It follows a video of the glamorous reality stars being kept apart by friends as tempers flared at a boozy party at London’s O2 Arena on Tuesday night.
The onlooker added: “Faye approached Maura and started arguing with her.
“Faye seemed to accuse Maura of starting the drama over something that seemed lighthearted. Then it turned into a real scene.”
Maura was heard yelling at Faye, “Starting with you? Don’t point a finger at me.”
A friend who tried to separate the pair was heard pleading with them to stop as the crowd gathered.
She was heard asking: “Girls, girls. Why are you fighting? This has been going on for an hour. Stop it, stop it.”
After branding Faye a “cow”, Maura was heard telling a friend: “She’s bloody unpleasant. I said, ‘What do you mean?’
“I said, ‘Don’t ever do that to me, you stupid cow. Don’t ever talk to me like that’.”
Fortunately, the close friends settled their differences and were able to kiss and make up the next morning.
They publicly posted beautiful photos of each other on Instagram, on which they wrote: “I love you” and “I adore you.”
