MORE details have emerged about the tragic death of TV doctor Michael Mosley who fell on a Greek island after an ill-fated walk.
The harrowing reason why the 67-year-old left his phone at his holiday home emerged after doctors revealed the two most likely causes of his death.

The medical examiner’s report labeled the exact cause of Mosley’s death as “undetermined” and “undetermined.”
Senior Coroner for Buckinghamshire, Crispin Butler, added that his shock death was most likely due to heat stroke or an unidentified pathological cause.
The report confirmed that the beloved on-screen personality did not die of suicide, murder or any injury-related accident.
The coroner’s document also revealed a number of key details surrounding Mosley’s fateful final journey.

When the doctor left his wife and friends for a walk, he didn’t take his phone with him – a decision that resulted in him being unable to contact anyone when he fell ill.
Rescue teams were also unable to track his last movements as his phone was left behind.
The report, based on interviews with Mosley’s family, revealed the tragic reason he didn’t take his cell phone with him.
It said: “On the morning of June 5 they traveled to Pedi Beach, arriving late in the morning.
“Michael deliberately left his cell phone in the house to prevent it from getting wet on the ferry.”
It took emergency teams five days to find Mosley’s body on the Greek island of Symi.

According to witnesses, he was only discovered after someone noticed the shine on his watch.
The health guru was tragically just a 90-second walk from the safety of the beach bar before he passed out.
Wife of dr. Mosley’s Clare Bailey raised the alarm after her husband did not return to their holiday home by the evening.
She described him as looking “energetic and cheerful” just minutes before he wandered off on his own.
The search for dr. Mosley, who often appears on The One Show and This Morning, and involved up to 100 people.
Helicopters, drones and sniffer dogs were deployed, but officers struggled to find him for days.
A senior police source told The Sun at the time: “We had everything – every agency, every branch looking for him on this little island.
“It’s absurd that we didn’t find him.”
An autopsy completed in Rhodes earlier this year also signaled that Dr. Mosley may have finally rested before he died.
The report indicates that the position of his body indicates that the doctor rested his hand on the wall before collapsing.

There are still questions about how Dr. Mosley finished on a dangerous mountain route in Greece.
Two theories claim that dr. Mosley was either trying to get to the resort just 100 meters away or he was heading towards the sea hoping to cool off in the 37C temperatures.
It is assumed that he may have fallen or slipped and hit his head.
Mayor Eleftherios Papakaloudoukas believes that dr. Mosley was able to “feel pretty bad and lie down” before he died.

His body was finally found 100 meters from the safety of the restaurant – and 150 meters from the spot searched by their four grown children the day before.
He is believed to have taken a wrong turn – ending up on a rocky, mountainous road for almost two hours in unforgiving 37C heat.
Movement of dr. Mosley’s whereabouts between when he was last seen in Paddy’s shortly before 2pm and when he was seen on CCTV taking his final walk towards the bar at around 3.45pm remains a mystery.
The walk from Pedi to Agia Marina – where it was found – usually takes about 30 to 40 minutes if you stick to the path, but Dr. It took Mosley at least one hour and 45 minutes.
dr. Mosley was one of Britain’s most famous doctors, popularizing the 5:2 diet and writing a number of best-selling books.
He is survived by his children Alexander, Jack, Daniel and Katherine.
