Ree Drummond Shows Off Hair Transformation of Her Signature Auburn Color: ‘We Fixed That’

Ree Drummond is refreshing her signature red hair!

On Friday, A pioneer The 54-year-old star debuted her new color on her Instagram Story, sharing two photos showing her hair before and after a trip to the salon.

Drummond explained her “before” picture of the copper locks by writing next to the Big Bird sticker: “My hair was just fading to yellow/orange.”

She then posted a selfie with the new maroon color, “Well we fixed it 😂.”

The food blogger also included a poll asking if her followers liked the new ‘do, with the answer choices being “Yes” and the hilarious “Please don’t say no 😂.”

Drummond previously showcased her hair transformation in an Instagram post in late August. She shot the video at Oma Salon in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her hairstylist Amber Southern and appropriately set the sound to “Dude! I feel like a woman!” by Shania Twain.

“I don’t like to post about Amber because then she gets too busy for me (haha) but I just wanted to show you my red color that I decided to go back to a more red/coppery place after going to a more orange/yellow place in the last year,” Drummond wrote.

She continued: “In the previous video, my hair was very faded because I was busy and sick (I’m fine now), but my hair started to fade to yellow, with a Big Bird accent. So beautiful Amber set me back on the straight and narrow.”

“I know she’s looking super bright right now, but here’s the thing about redheads. We are like shooting stars. Unpredictable. Rarely. Transient. (What, Ree?? 😂),” she jokingly added mocking herself.

“The point is, I’ll check in a week and you’ll see. My hair is a different color every day! That’s because redheads are like shooting stars. Unpredictable. Rarely. Transient…wait, I already said that. 🤓,” she concluded with another quip about redheads thrown in for good measure.

Before refreshing her hair color, Drummond recently enjoyed a trip to Vail, Colorado, home to one of her favorite chapels, according to her blog.

Earlier this month, she visited the ski town with her husband Ladd, daughter Paige, 24, and nephew Stuart Smith.

Along with Paige, the mother of five children also shares a daughter, Alex (26); sons Bryce, 21, and Todd, 19; and adopted son Jamar, 20, with Ladd.
