Reese Witherspoon and Son Deacon Phillippe Share Mother-Son Moment at Blink Twice Premiere

Reese Witherspoon knows how to make any event a fun family affair!

Witherspoon, 48, attended the film’s premiere Blink twice — her Big little lies Actress Zoë Kravitz’s directorial debut — with her son Deacon Phillippe, 20, on Thursday, August 8.

Morning show the star attended the event wearing a black sweetheart neckline blouse and matching wide leg trousers. Her son chose a more casual look with a blue polo shirt, white pants and sneakers.

While on the red carpet, the actress also took a moment to take a photo with her colleague Big little lies star Laura Dern.

In addition to Deacon, Witherspoon is the mother of daughter Ava Phillippe, 24, with ex Ryan Phillippe. She is also the mother of 11-year-old Tennessee James Toth, with ex Jim Toth.

Blink twice, which will be released in theaters on Friday, August 23, features Kravitz’s fiance, Channing Tatum, as a mysterious billionaire tech mogul.

“When tech billionaire Slater King (Tatum) meets cocktail waitress Frida (Naomi Ackie) at his fundraiser, sparks fly,” the synopsis explains.

“He invites her to join him and his friends on a dream vacation on his private island. It’s paradise. Wild nights blend into sun-drenched days and everyone has a good time. No one wants this trip to end, but when strange things begin , happens, Frida begins to question her reality,” the synopsis continues. “There’s something wrong with this place. She’s going to have to uncover the truth if she’s going to get out of this party alive.”

In January, Deacon also accompanied his famous mom to another big event — the 2024 Golden Globes.

The mother-son duo walked the red carpet in Diversity Golden Globes pre-promotion, and Deacon later revealed in an interview, “This is my first Golden Globes and really my first awards show.”
