Happy birthday, Ava Phillippe!
Reese Witherspoon celebrated her daughter’s 24th birthday by sharing a tribute to her on Instagram on Saturday.
“Happy birthday to my famous girlfriend,” the Legal blonde star, 47, captioned the post. “The joy of my life is watching you grow and become the most inspiring, thoughtful, creative, dynamic, witty woman.”
“I learned so much from being your mom. How lucky is that??!” she continued. “I love you to the stars and back!”
Along with Ava, Witherspoon also has a son, Deacon Phillippe, 19, with ex Ryan Phillippe.

In her post, Witherspoon shared two side-by-side photos of herself and Ava, starting with a shot of them at Oceana’s SeaChange Summer Party in July.

For another photo, Witherspoon opted for an equally smiley moment, sharing an old photo of herself and Ava face to face.

Others, like Chelsea Handler, meanwhile, pointed out how much Witherspoon’s oldest child looks like her mom.
“It’s been the joy of my life watching you two morph into each other over and over again,” the comedian commented, adding: “Who the hell is who?”

During the performance at Today with Hoda and Jenna last year, the Oscar winner discussed all things parenting.
When showing the hosts a photo of Ava, Jenna Bush Hager pointed out that when it comes to looks, the apple didn’t fall far from the tree.
“Wait, you’re all twins!” said Witherspoon, who replied, “She and I don’t see it that much.”

Despite claiming she doesn’t see the uncanny resemblance between her and her daughter, Witherspoon previously said she “feels so young” about being “switched” with Ava.
“I’m so proud of her,” she said In style to her daughter in 2021, noting that she “really likes her.”
“I’m sure it’s not easy to look exactly like your mother,” she added.
