Reese Witherspoon and Oliver Haarmann are going strong.
A source told PEOPLE Morning show The 48-year-old actress is “dating” the businessman, who is a minority co-owner of the NHL New York Islanders and a founding partner of Searchlight Capital.
“Reese is great and enjoys going out. She is having fun with Oliver – says the source. “She often flies between Nashville and NYC to see him. He also spends time with her children.”

According to the source, Haarmann spends time with Witherspoon’s sons Deacon Phillippe, 21, and Tennessee James Toth, 12, who she shares with exes Ryan Phillippe, 50, and Jim Toth, 54. The insider noted that they aren’t “sure if he’s met” her daughter Ava Phillippe, 25, “yet.”
“Reese loves being a businessman and not in Hollywood,” adds the source.
In September, multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE that the couple had begun dating after they were spotted together in New York on Sept. 4 for at least the second time in a month.

Witherspoon and Haarmann were also photographed at the Big Apple restaurant at L’Artusi in the West Village on July 30. The day before, they arrived together in the city by helicopter.

Witherspoon previously announced her divorce from ex-husband Jim Toth in March 2023, after nearly 12 years of marriage. They divorced by August 2023. That same month, she opened up about how her two divorces compared to each other while speaking to Harper’s BAZAAR for the August 2023 issue of the magazine.
“Being able to talk directly to people about what’s going on in my life and just share it the way I share great professional or personal experiences,” she said, “it feels a lot more authentic to be able to say things in my own voice and not let someone else controls what happens.”
