Reese Witherspoon was ready to impress on the 2024 Emmy Awards red carpet.
Actress, who is nominated for Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her work Morning showattended the event on Sunday, September 15 in a classic strapless black Dior gown with delicate floral detailing on the bodice that flowed down to a tulle skirt.
She put her hair in a bun and wore a smokey eye and bright lipstick. She added just a few jewels and carried a matching gold clutch.
Witherspoon shared a few photos of herself on Instagram before the show, writing, “Emmy night!! So excited to celebrate Season 3 of @themorningshow and all the amazing people who made it happen.”

Witherspoon’s co-star Jennifer Aniston, Anna Sawai (Shogun), Carrie Coon (The Gilded Age), Imelda Staunton (Crown), and Maya Erskine (Mr. and Mrs. Smith).
This is Witherspoon’s second time competing for the award after being nominated in the same category in 2022.
That year, she attended the ceremony in a dazzling black and blue Armani Privé dress. The full sequined look was paired with Tiffany & Co. jewels, including a platinum necklace with 160 carats of aquamarine, 49 carats of blue zircons and nearly two carats of diamonds.
