Reinaldo Herrera Guevar, former journalist and husband Caroline Herrera died.
Per WwdReinaldo passed away on Tuesday, March 18, in his home in New York. He was 91. Reinaldo Herrera Guevar was born in Caracas in Venezuela and attended the Harvard University and Georgetown University. In his home country he worked as an Emiter on the Morning Information Program Buenas Dias.

Reinaldo and Carolina were well -known socialists and mixed up with the NYC elite, including the former Fashion Editor -in -chief Diana Vreeland. Per WwdCarolina, who is now 86, once told Reinald, “I think I was crazy in love with Reinaald, when I was 15 or 16 years old, but then he went to Europe. He was always my great love.”

March 18, Carter said Wwd This reinaldo was a “huge part of” his life in the last 40 years. “I loved Reinaald and will miss him every day,” said the former editor Vanity fair. “He had a life and a blink in his eyes that would never be replaced. And I honestly think.”
Carolina Herrera fashion house, from which Carolina stepped down in 2018, shared a message about Reinaald’s death on Instagram on March 19. With a black and white photo, the house wrote: “With enormous sadness, we share the passage of Mr. Reinald Herrera Guevar.”
The message continued, “Reinaldo Herrera Guevar was a sharp cultural observer, a man of innate elegance and charm lively in humility. Above all, he was a beloved family man. He became involved in his role as husband, father and grandfather, and was a proud fan of the Caroline Herrera brand in the founding of 1981.”
“Mr. Herrera Guevar will very much miss us love us in Carolina Herrera and Puig. Let us send our deepest condolences to Carolina Herrera and the Herrera family,” the note concluded.
