Remya Nambeesan was born on Wednesday, January 1, 1986, while some sources state that she was born on Monday, March 24, 1986 (age 37; as of 2023) in Chottanikkara, Cochin, Kerala. She studied at Mahatma Gandhi Public School in Ambadhimala, Chotanikara. She graduated from St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam with a BA in Communicative English. She was trained in Carnatic music and classical dance.
