RHOA's Porsha Williams Is Preparing a 'Hand-Cooked' Meal for Thanksgiving — But Catering in Christmas (Exclusive)

Porsha Williams will be putting on her chef’s hat for Thanksgiving.

The The Real Housewives of Atlanta star tells PEOPLE during the Bravo Fan Fest in Miami that they’ll be doing “something small” but totally homemade for the Nov. 28 holiday.

“For Thanksgiving, I’ll be in the kitchen making turkey, sweet potatoes, collard greens, potato salad and everything in between,” she teases. “Thanksgiving will be cooked by hand.”

However, the 43-year-old has more detailed plans for Christmas next month.

“I finally got my 3-foot nutcrackers for the front door,” says Williams. “I’ve been trying to get them for two years, haven’t I? So I’m throwing the biggest Christmas party.”

And for that party, she says, catering will be arranged.

While Williams is naturally looking forward to the holidays, she says her daughter Pilar Jhena McKinley, 5, is “so excited.”

“I didn’t spoil her with a bunch of presents last year because, you know, at four years old they like what they like,” she told PEOPLE last weekend. “And the rest was like, ‘Thanks mom.’ ”

This year, though, “she’s really into Barbie. She actually came home like, ‘I want a Barbie dream house.’ ”

“I’m happy about that because I was Barbie,” Williams adds.
