Kyle Richards has a lot of competition on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills when it comes to fashion, but the OG showed up and showed out this fall with her looks. Dorit Kemsley and Erika Jayne are the historic fashion icons from RHOBH. However, Lisa Rinna also struts her stuff, and Garcelle Beauvais is coming for them all. Meanwhile, Sutton Stracke comes up with some exciting outfits but gets dogged for her cat sweaters. Kathy Hilton couldn’t care less about impressing the RHOBH women and show’s up to girls’ trips in hotel slippers like she’s Justin Bieber. Kyle’s always been somewhere in the middle, caught between the label obsessed and the cat sweaters.
However, amid all Kyle’s drama with Kathy and the premiere of Halloween End, she’s turned up the heat this fall. Gone is the soccer mom, and in came a trendy seductress. From her peach sparkling reunion dress and highlighted high pony to her dominatrix photoshoot, Kyle came to play this fall. While there wasn’t anything wrong with Kyle’s RHOBH season 12 interview looks, there wasn’t much of a wow factor either. When asked who her new stylist was in her Instagram comments, Kyle answered, “me still.” Clearly, Kyle is taking the credit for her upgrade.
Kyle’s Bringing The Heat Amid The RHOBH Reunion Drama
Everyone was gagging at Kyle’s new Mike Ruiz photoshoot. The mother of four donned a slicked-back ponytail, taloned metallic handpieces, and a regal metallic neckpiece in one series. However, fans were probably more distracted by Kyles’s leg wrapped around a glistening naked model. While she may have gotten some hate for the provocative shoot, she said that it took “some convincing” to get her to do it her “fam chat,” and Mauricio Umansky, whose new Netflix show could stir the pot, was “totally fine with it.” Fellow Real Housewives Sonja Morgan, Teresa Giudice, and Gizelle Bryant cheered in the comments. Kyle also wore a magnificent white crocheted cut-out dress, a dark long-sleeved shimmering gown, and an ornate plunging dress for the shoot.
Kyle’s Sultry Styling Comes Off As Armor
It seems likely all the heat Kyle has been getting from fans and her castmates alike have inspired her to step up her fashion. Kyle’s been looking slick all fall on Instagram, from a black dress at the Halloween Ends premiere with a neckline resembling flames to sexy black leather ensembles for promos and BravoCon. Posing with Andy Cohen also hinted at Bravo’s loyalty to Kyle and the RHOBH Fox Force Five alliance. She took a short break from the all-black looks for an all-white aesthetic with a half pony after Labor Day for a more relaxed vibe at BravoCon. However, the outfit was just as flattering as the rest. In many ways, it seems like Kyle’s using apparel and beauty as armor amid all her family and friend drama.
She may not know how to navigate the infamous Aspen incident involving her sister Kathy Hilton, but she’s proving she’ll look good no matter what happens. Fans have also criticized Kyle for calling Crystal Kung Minkoff a “dramatic millennial” and dismissing her experience of microaggressions and problematic behavior from the cast. While Kyle was acting like a Karen at The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion, it seems like she’s trying to prove she’s hip to the times with her fashion.
