RHOBH: Kyle Accuses Dorit of Fueling Morgan Wade Romance Rumors, Bringing Up Marital Issues at Her ‘Expense’

Kyle Richards points the finger at Dorit Kemsley for stoking the fire around her personal life.

In the first part of Wednesday The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion, the longtime friends found themselves at odds over bad behavior on both sides during this season of the Bravo show.

As Dorit prepared to face her fellow Housewives, she admitted in her trailer that she was feeling nervous about seeing Kyle again and revealed that the duo hadn’t spoken in “a few months.” She also told Erika Girardi that she was hurt by the headlines she saw as well as Kyle’s claims that she “exaggerated” the nature of their friendship in front of the season 13 cameras.

Despite the radio silence she’s endured over the past few months, Dorit revealed that Kyle sent her a “novel”-length text message and claims it was sent in an attempt to “shut her up” before the reunion.

“It was so manipulative, it was so calculated,” she said before handing her cell phone to Erika who read the message out loud.

“Some comments in the interview hurt my feelings and caused me more problems,” a snippet of text flashed on the screen. “I don’t want to lose anyone else in my life because of a TV show. They don’t even know we’re going through a tough time so I don’t see the need to bring it up here.”

Erika agreed that the message seemed manipulative, and Dorit said it was “fairly fair” when it comes to bringing up difficult conversations at reunions, despite Kyle’s desire to keep their drama under wraps.

On the reunion stage, Dorit was confronted by Halloween actress about her comments regarding their friendship and admitted that the headline “stung,” to which Kyle replied, “I said that in response to all the things you’ve been saying throughout the season.”

When asked by Dorit to clarify, Kyle revealed that she didn’t like how she brought up her marital problems with Mauricio Umansky “while we’re good friends” on camera. She also added that she didn’t appreciate Dorit’s comments about feeling replaced by Morgan Wade and noted that they don’t have a “kind of friendship” when they go out to lunch and hike — things Kyle likes to do with his other friends.

“That doesn’t mean you’re not very important to me, I love you very much,” Kyle continued, noting that Dorito’s “exaggeration” was done at “my expense.”

“You knew I was going to say something like that that would create a bigger problem for me in the media with the whole Morgan situation,” she added, referring to rumors of a romance with the country singer.

Dorit defended herself by pointing out that the rumors existed long before she commented on the closeness of their relationship.

Kyle tried to assuage Dorit’s concerns about the status of their friendship, and while her statements were appreciated, Dorit noted the way Kyle had been “punishing” her over the past few months.

“I know your nature, if I say something that upsets you, you’re a punisher, you’ll shut me down,” she said as Kyle rolled her eyes. “We haven’t spoken in a few months and suddenly you texted me the day before the reunion, do you really think I’m an idiot?”

She admitted that the message seemed “very manipulative” and that she didn’t plan to come to the reunion to “destroy” you.
