RHOC: Emily Calls Out Heather for Giving Her Size 12 Clothes: 'Still Sees Me as the Big Girl'

Emily Simpson openly talks about her body insecurities after Heather Dubrow’s fashion show.

Thursday, September 19 episode The Real Housewives of Orange County, Emily told how she was embarrassed that her clothes were a size larger than other women’s clothes at last week’s charity fashion show. Emily explained that Heather told her to bring her jeans to wear while everyone else was wearing high-end designer clothes.

“I actually had a moment when I went to the bathroom and I actually cried a little bit because I felt like I was singled out,” Emily said through tears. “I felt like I was the girl who couldn’t fit into the pants everyone else was wearing. It really killed me.”

“I felt like I wasn’t small like everyone else,” she added.

Heather told Emily that wasn’t her intention. She added that she “has a great body” and recalled a moment earlier in the season when she told Emily how “lucky” she was to have “such a great butt.”

“I don’t understand why all these insecurities are coming out on me now,” Heather said in her confessional.

While Emily assured Heather that she didn’t think she would “do anything malicious,” she said that she worked hard to get the body she has and that Heather wearing big clothes was offensive.

“I thought I was giving you the lead,” Heather interjected, noting that Emily had three changes while most of the other ladies only had two.

“I’m so sad you feel that way,” Heather said and Emily shot back, “I didn’t even feel good in a dress because Alexis [Bellino] was in the same dress.”

Katie Ginella then chimed in and said that Emily was in a size 12 dress, while Alexis was in a size 2 dress. Earlier in the episode, Emily clarified to Jenn Pedranti and Katie at lunch that she was “not a size 12” and Alexis’ dress “fits her perfectly”.

“I still feel like Heather looks at me like a big girl,” Emily confided to them as they reassured her that she wasn’t being “unreasonable.”

“It’s not my fault!” Heather later said and added in the confessional: “It’s not fair. I have news for you, the dress was tight on Emily, it wasn’t too big.”

Emily continued to question Heather, who said, “I apologized, but you just want to keep hunting me.”

“I’m not going after you, I’m just talking about myself,” Emily replied.

When Emily insisted that Heather never “apologized,” Alexis defended her, and Emily yelled, “Shut up!”

“I’m not going to shut up, you just dragged me into this,” Alexis said, prompting Emily to call her “crazy.”

Emily then tried to pull Heather aside, but Heather hesitated because Emily had already brought up the issue in front of the group.

“Stop being rude to me,” Heather said.

“You’re the one being rude,” Emily joked. “You are cold and condescending.”

When Heather told Emily to “be quiet for a second,” Emily instead told Heather to “get f— off” as she turned and prepared to leave.

On the other side of the house, Alexis revealed that she was “already” feeling “broken” by the legal drama between boyfriend John Janssen and co-star (and John’s ex) Shannon Beador, who were involved in litigation at the time.

“I’m at my lowest point right now,” Alexis said.

When all the women regrouped in the kitchen, they started yelling at each other and Gina decided it was finally time for her and Emily to leave.

“You’re not involved in this—you’re a friend,” Emily told Alexis on the way out, referring to her status on RHOC. “Shut the fuck up!”
