- On June 23, 2023, Ria shared an Instagram post with a caption that revealed that she missed her board exams in Bengaluru due to participating in a competition in Mumbai. However, she eventually won the competition and was awarded the title of New Face of the OPPO Era in 2016.
- After completing her studies, she decided to give up her decision to go to the New York Film Academy as she received an offer to play a role in a Kannada film. However, just days before filming began, she was replaced by another actor.
- Ria revealed in an Instagram post that she auditioned more than 3,000 times before being cast as Antari in the web series UP65, but was always replaced by well-known faces in the industry before filming began.
