Biography of Rian Johnson
Rian Craig Johnson was born on December 17, 1973 in Silver Spring, Maryland, where he eventually moved to Denver, Colorado. He lived in Denver until sixth grade, when he moved to San Clemente, California, to attend a public high school, San Clemente High School.
After graduating in 1992, he attended the College of Southern California, where he studied expressive arts before graduating from the USC School of True-to-Life Expression in 1996. His acclaimed film His, ‘Block’, was mainly filmed at his old high school.
