My personality is also very interesting. The ghazal I play is full of energy, has a modern outlook on life and is a bindas. I like khul kar life ko jiyo’s attitude – at least as a character (smile). The show tackles some relevant issues and revolves around the two nikahs. The storyline is great and so is my character. “

- Richa Rathore worked with a multinational company in Chandigarh before venturing into showbiz. In an interview, she spoke about this and said:
With the influx of talent in the industry, there are many newbies waiting to get the right project. In my case, I had a casting team visit my engineering college. They auditioned me too. I had forgotten all this and one day I got a call asking me to come to Mumbai as they wanted me to join Kumkum Bhagya. At that time, I was working in an MNC and it was a tough decision but luckily I reached Mumbai. ”
- In an interview, Richa Rathore talked about how she decided to pursue a career in acting. While studying engineering, Richa auditioned for a small role in the Hindi film Tamasha (2015); the film’s audition team visited Richa’s college. Later, Richa played a small role in a movie, after which she decided to pursue a career in acting. she says,
It all started with Imtiaz Ali’s film Tamasha. I was finishing my engineering work when the team came to our college for auditions. The shooting took place only in Shimla. So I went and auditioned and got a small role, which I happily accepted. I was shooting with the team for a week and I was shocked by what was happening around me. That’s when I felt that acting was what I wanted to do. “

I have lived in metropolitan cities but life is completely different in Mumbai. It wasn’t easy, but I did it and now I’m used to the rhythm. When I was in Shimla during the lockdown, I really felt how slow life people live in a place like this. But being away from her family is difficult, “I have to do all the work here myself.” Even though I have health issues, I have to do things on my own.
