Rick Harrison’s Son’s Death Won’t Be Addressed on Upcoming Season of Pawn Stars

Rick Harrison’s late son, Adam Harrison, will not appear in the upcoming season Pawn StarsPEOPLE can confirm.

Adam, who was not a cast member of the popular History Channel show, died on January 19 at the age of 39 of a fentanyl overdose.

Pawn Stars – also stars Rick’s other son, Corey Harrison, as well as Austin “Chumlee” Russell — Season 23 began filming earlier this month.

Laura Herlovich, Rick’s representative, confirmed Adam’s death Las Vegas Review-Journal last month.

“Our family is extremely saddened by Adam’s passing. We ask for privacy as we grieve his loss,” she shared with the publication on behalf of the Harrison family.

A few days later, Rick (58) posted a touching tribute to his son on Instagram.

“You will always be in my heart! I love you Adam. 💔”, he wrote alongside a photo of himself smiling with Adam in a bar.

After Corey, Adam was Rick and his ex-wife Kim’s second child. Rick remarried his second wife, Tracy, and the couple had one son, Jake.

Although Adam did not appear on Pawn Stars along with Rick and Corey, he reportedly worked at Gold & Silver Pawn before the unscripted program premiered in 2009.
