The couple divorced in 2020 after Rida accused Salman of physical abuse. Salman said the reason for the separation was Rida’s leaking of objectionable private videos on various social media platforms and her parents’ attempts to control him and constant interference in his marriage. Salman claimed that Rida did not like his mother and sister and she forced him to separate. Salman defended himself in an interview and revealed the reasons for the divorce, saying,
The biggest lie she ever told was that I assaulted her with my heat [clothes] iron. I never tried to harm her physically, I swear to Allah. The second biggest lie was that I threatened to throw her from the third floor. I let my career suffer because of her. I went against my family for her. I stayed just to pamper her and help her erase the bad memories and the bad experience when her bathroom video went viral. Only my heart knows how I endured it all. Instead she made all these false accusations against me. She doesn’t take into account everything I’ve done for her.
On October 26, 2020, Rida married her second husband, but in 2021, she separated from him. Rida had a son with her second husband. The son was born on September 6, 2021, but died on September 11, 2021. Rida revealed the reasons for her separation in an interview, saying her husband accused her of cheating and infidelity.

MMS video leak sparks controversy
In November 2016, Reda’s private and intimate video was leaked and the video went viral on the Internet. Six years later, in November 2022, she accused her ex-fiance in an interview of recording and leaking her video online. Ridha’s ex-husband Salman Shaikh revealed the name of her fiancé, Saeed, through a video on his Facebook account. Saeed worked as a director of photography in the Pakistani film industry. Rida’s parents were against their marriage as he belonged to a different community but Rida somehow convinced her parents about their marriage. After getting engaged, their relationship lasted for about 3 years. In 2016, after Rida went to the United States to film a movie, her fiancé leaked her private video online. During the podcast, Rida spoke about the leaked video and revealed who was behind it, saying:
My trust was broken by my fiancé. I have convinced my parents to support him, and I have a conservative mentality, so I only want to be with one person. He was not rich, but when he proposed to me, I accepted. Three years after we got engaged, he leaked photos of me in America. People urged me to hold a press conference, but I did not do so because it was his behavior and my tragedy that will follow me to my grave. ”
