Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Have a Day Date on the Sea During Barbados Getaway Trip

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky enjoy some fun in the sun.

The rapper, 35, and the Fenty Beauty founder, 36, were spotted hanging out on the beach on Tuesday, August 6, during their latest trip to the latter’s home country. The pair also seem to have enjoyed a nice sea ride, according to photos that captured the two lounging in life jackets on an orange inflatable couch.

Just a day before the couple’s daytime date, Rihanna dazzled fans with her big comeback at the annual Crop Over Festival in Barbados. The hitmaker walked the streets at the St Michael’s event – also known as the Grand Kadooment Parade – wearing a custom winged carnival costume that covered her from head to toe.

The eye-catching feathered ensemble featured gold and bronze jewels and a matching headpiece, which perfectly complemented the singer’s auburn locks and blonde locks.

A$AP Rocky shares family photos with Rihanna and their sons in celebration of RZA turning 2: ‘My Firstborn’

Around this time last summer, Rihanna and Rocky were vacationing in Barbados with their 2-year-old son RZA, enjoying some family time together shortly before welcoming their second child, Riot Rose, on August 1, 2023.

The Grammy winner shared a sweet photo from the trio’s Caribbean vacation on Instagram in a July 2023 post with the caption, “my Bajan boyz…🇧🇧❤️.”

More snaps from the family trip showed Rihanna enjoying snowballs outside her villa in Barbados that same month. The then-pregnant “Umbrella” singer was photographed wearing a black sports bra and a pair of unbuttoned denim shorts that showed off her baby bump.

Rihanna has always had strong ties to her homeland. Speaking with Interview magazine for the April 2024 issue, the musician remarked: “Barbados will always be home. One hundred percent. I’m still a citizen after all these years.”

Rihanna’s recent trips home follow several stylish outings in New York with boyfriend Rocky. Back in May, sources told PEOPLE that the proud parents of two are enjoying their romantic lives after stepping out at a number of public events together.

“They’ve always had a strong friendship, and the romance only made it stronger,” a music management insider said of the power couple, noting that their “family comes first.”

Another source said Rihanna is now “all about motherhood” and is “loving” parenting her children with Rocky. “She brings the kids on every trip, including work trips,” the insider shared. “The kids come everywhere with her. She never complains about being tired. She just seems to love life.”

The source went on to say that the “Love On the Brain” singer and the “DMB” rapper are “doing a great job raising their kids,” adding, “They are amazing together. Rihanna really seems the happiest.”
