Rihanna Gets Decked in Diamonds and Huge Furry Hat on Red Carpet Date Night at the Fashion Awards with A$AP Rocky

Rihanna brought her big hat energy to London.

The “Umbrella” singer, 36, and her partner A$AP Rocky, 36, walked the red carpet at the Fashion Awards in extremely elegant combinations suitable for the evening.

Rihanna wore a baby blue Christian Lacroix FW02 fur coat wrapped around a black bustier dress with a lace skirt and leggings. She accessorized with black heels, black leather opera gloves, a chunky blue fur hat (also from the Christian Lacroix FW02 collection) and plenty of diamond necklaces.

A$AP Rocky complemented her with a navy blue oversize suit under which she wore a white shirt and red tie. His look was completed by black formal shoes with a square toe. The two posed for photos on the red carpet hand-in-hand before entering the event.

For next year’s event — where the costume exhibit will be themed “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” — A$AP Rocky will co-chair alongside Colman Domingo, F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, Pharrell Williams, and honorary chair LeBron James.

Rihanna said Party tonight in October that he does not know exactly what the couple’s plans are for the biggest fashion night.

– He didn’t tell me anything – she revealed. “All we planned to do was be there.”

“I’m not worried about him. I’m worried about what I’m going to do,” she laughed and added that Rocky is always willing to help her come up with fashion plans for big events like these.

I never ask him for help, but he is always willing to help, she continued. “You can come to him even if you’re an opp and say, ‘Can you help me with my project, give me advice?’ And he’ll give you advice, I’ve seen it.”
