Rihanna looks back on the evolution of her style.
On Monday, December 23, TikTok user Mystery Fashionist spoke with the singer about her style choices – past and present. The mother of two is widely known for her daring, pioneering and even empowering looks and fashion philosophy.

For the video interview, Rihanna (36) wore a khaki suede coat with a fur lining, and combined it with black wide pants, a baseball cap and pointe heels. She wore an emerald green scarf tied around her neck and her hair down, finishing off the look with a chunky black leather belt with silver accessories.
“I love it. It gives a bit of Christian Dior,” she said of her outfit, which she rated a 10, showing the sleeves of her jacket. She also highlighted her YSL pants, boots and belt.

The Fenty founder told Mystery Fashionist that she can’t live without a good New York snapback, baggy jeans and skinny vintage jeans, a “little quick croc LV monogram bag” and Savage X Fenty underwear.
When a TikToker asked her what fashion trend she regretted participating in, she replied, “Oh my god, why do you have to bring up the old s….”

He noticed that many people he’s interviewed in the past often mentioned the tracksuit and heels combo in response to this question — but Rihanna loved the trend, she said, “especially now as a mom.”
“When I first started, I wore baggy jeans, no panties,” she said. “What the hell was I thinking?”

It’s an older trend, but it’s resurfaced in recent years, the interviewer said.
But Rihanna said she was happy to put the trend behind her. She ran her hands over her thick leather thong—about where she used to throw out her underwear.
“That’s called growth, everyone!” she said.
