The reason for their transfer emerged from a report by The Indian Express. It was claimed that the athletes at the Thyagraj Stadium were told to finish training early so that the IAS couple could take their dog for an evening walk around the stadium.
Following this report, the Ministry of Home Affairs received a report from the Chief Secretary of Delhi, explaining what happened to the alleged misuse of the Thyagraj Stadium by the couple.
This report caused great anger among athletes and the public. As a result, Sanjeev Khirwar, who was the principal revenue secretary in the Delhi government, was sent to Ladakh. Meanwhile, 54-year-old Rinku Dugga has assumed the role of Principal Secretary for Indigenous Affairs in Arunachal Pradesh.
The government forced her to retire?
Based on available information, Rinku Dugga was forced to retire under the rule known as Fundamental Rule (FR) 56(J), which is part of the Central Civil Service (CCS) Pension Rules, 1972. This decision was taken after reviewing her work history .
