Sony made his Bollywood debut with the Ariel action film Fighter (2024), in which he played a terrorist. He has shared the screen with actors like Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor. The film’s scenes of Soni holding a machine gun and fighting with Hrithik Roshan stole the show.

- Rishabh Sawhney used to be fat when he was a teenager. He started working out towards the end of college. At the end of his studies, his weight reached 120 kilograms. With sheer determination, he dropped his weight to 58 kilograms by the time he graduated. While attending school in New Delhi, he used to eat a lot of junk food. His eating habits changed when he moved from New Delhi to Vellore, a small city in Tamil Nadu state where there was no food chain. In a post on Instagram, explaining how he lost weight, he said,
Vellore was a village and there was no known food chain in Vellore at that time and I didn’t really like messy food. Also, getting good food from restaurants is tedious because it’s so far and walking is the only way to get food, and I’m lazy, so I stopped eating normally and started losing weight. Ever since I saw that I was losing weight, I adopted a method of losing weight, so I started eating only dinner for about six months, no breakfast, no lunch, and every time I was hungry, I would drink a whole bottle of water. Come and fill your stomach, haha. I walk everywhere and use the stairs instead of the elevator. “
In the first semester, he lost 30 kilograms and was getting thinner. He felt that he should not stop. So he continued this trend for another six months, and by the end of the first year, he had lost about 60 kilograms. Eventually, he decided to compete in men’s physique competitions. He played in two of those games but then suffered a shoulder injury and was out for about 4-5 months. After recovering, he continued his bodybuilding and fitness journey.
