Rita Di Tommaso’s marriage ended after a few weeks. They got married. The couple welcomed their only child Silvija. When Silvia was only 5 months old, Franco Califano left them. In an interview with Vanity Fair, Silvia stated,
“It is not true that my father abandoned his pregnant wife. I was born a year after mom and dad got married and he left when I was five months old.”
