Rita Ora Makes a Statement in Polka Dot Mini Dress During N.Y.C. Outing

Rita Ora knows that first impressions are important.

On Monday, the British pop star, 32, was seen in New York in a chic long-sleeved polka dot dress ahead of her upcoming performance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

She paired the statement mini dress perfectly with black formal shoes and white knee-length leggings covered in black dots. To add to the bold look, Ora wore large earrings, sunglasses and multiple silver and black rings.

Taika Waititi celebrates 48th birthday in Ibiza with wife Rita Ora and friends — see photos

Ora wore her blonde locks in a sleek center part with a neutral pink lip gloss. She showed off another look at the ensemble in an Instagram post where she posed with a Poppi drink.

The stylish outing comes just days after the “You Only Love Me” singer celebrated husband Taika Waititi’s 48th birthday on the Spanish island of Ibiza.

“Only in Ibiza you gather such an amazing group of people full of joy and laughter, these are the only appropriate photos I could find!” she shared in an Instagram post that included photos from the party held at Next goal wins movie honor. “Thank you to everyone who came, you know who you are! And @vasjmorgan for bringing us all together with his hand.”

In celebration of his birthday, Ora gushed about Waititi on Instagram where she recognized him as “the funniest and smartest man I’ve ever met in my life.”

The couple were first linked in April 2021 and made their red carpet debut later that August at the film’s Los Angeles premiere Suicide Squad. In August 2022, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that Ora and Waititi tied the knot in a “very small” ceremony.

Ora spoke about their wedding during a guest appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show in February, in which she explained that she and Waititi were longtime friends before they decided to take their relationship to the next level.

“I got married! I can’t believe I can say this… I loved the whole experience, but for a while I kept it super private, just to myself. It’s nice to share it and be kind of open about it. It feels excellent!” she said. “He’s so, so great. We’re friends, and I mean, we met long before we decided to screw it up. We’ve been friends for six years.”
