Robbie Rist began his acting career as a child actor, playing cousin Oliver in the last six episodes of the American comedy “The Brady Bunch” in 1974. He continued to appear in television and film after appearing on “The Brady Bunch”. He later starred in the Saturday Morning sitcom “Big John, Little John” as Glendon Farrell. Furthermore, he played Tommy in the debut of the short-lived CBS drama series “Bronk”, as well as Martin in the short-lived Sanford and Son spin-off “Grady”. Rist appeared on “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” from 1975 to 1977 as David, the son of Ted Baxter (Ted Knight). He also made three appearances on The Bionic Woman. Additionally, in 1980, he was featured as Dr. Zee in “Galactica 1980.”
He appeared in four episodes of “ChiPs” and the short-lived CBS series “Whiz Kids,” and also portrayed Booger in the failed TV pilot “Revenge of the Nerds.” In 1986, the performer had a significant minor role as Milo in the action film “Iron Eagle”, which was a triumph at the box office despite praise from critics.
