Married life
Robert married Kelly Brown a long time ago and they are still together. To make ends meet, a British couple immigrated to Spain and opened a restaurant. Millie was born to them in Spain. They returned to the UK when Millie was four and lived in Bournemouth. When Millie was eight years old, the family moved to Orlando, Florida, with the intention of starting a teeth whitening company.

Robert enrolled Millie in the weekend stage while she was in Orlando so she could study, dance, act and sing every Saturday. Millie’s potential was noticed by a Hollywood talent scout, who said that she had an instinct that Robert and Kelly couldn’t teach her and that she could mix it with Hollywood’s biggest young men. Hearing such high praise from them made them move to Los Angeles and sell everything they had. Before Millie got the big job, they were on the verge of bankruptcy and going through a financial crisis.
Because they were strapped for cash, Robert could hardly afford to take Millie to auditions and would only do so on the condition that she knew all of her lines. Being in such difficult circumstances was unbearable for their eldest daughter Paige, so the family was forced to return to England and live in her aunt’s home. Everyone in the family was devastated, especially Millie, who feared that her goal of becoming a celebrity was over.
Despite her lack of confidence, she continued to audition. She later auditioned for Stranger Things, where she had to cry, and her acting in that moment was so honest and raw that she made it. Robert and his family soon returned to the United States. Millie had to get a haircut for her job, and Robert and Kelly were skeptical at first, but she eventually convinced them by telling them

In 2016, Robert made headlines when he asked agencies for money to sign his 12-year-old daughter. After his daughter’s appearance in Stranger Things, agents rushed to sign her. With her increased demand, she was rumored to be asking up to $100,000 to sign her daughter. According to The Hollywood Reporter, sources at five different agencies indicated that Robert, also known as Bobby, was seeking a large cash payment to sign Millie, with two sources revealing that the amount was $100,000.
He and his wife were reprimanded for using their daughter for financial gain.
Hunter Echo was questioned about grooming Millie during his Instagram Live session in July 2021. He went on to detail his rough sexual experiences with Millie. On top of that, he made a surprise announcement, revealing that Millie’s parents had let him live with Millie for eight months. Fans were quick to react, criticizing them for allowing their then 16-year-old daughter to live with their then-20-year-old for eight months. They were also reprimanded for neglecting their daughter and using her for financial gain. The Brown family, however, remains silent on the subject, despite Millien’s team threatening Hunter with legal action.
Hunter has since removed his TikTok video in which he apologized for his rude words. In his video, he said he wasn’t proud of what he said, which sounded incredibly immature and nasty. He also apologized for the live broadcast, saying it reflected badly on his family, himself and friends.
