Robson Green and his girlfriend Zoila

Robson met his girlfriend Zoila in 2016, after a chance meeting at the gym. Although the couple does not plan to get married, they have been living together since April of that year, and often work together on the set. Most of the behind-the-scenes photos from Robson Green’s Weekend Escapes are courtesy of Zoila, who is clearly a keen photographer.

During Daymon’s appearance on Robson Green’s Weekend Escapes, fans could see his close bond with Robson. Like his uncle, Daymon likes to be near water, and the pair barely made it through an episode without taunting each other. In particular, the duo’s visit to a butcher shop in Rothbury had Robson and Daymon laughing.

In the episode, Robson’s uncle Matheson joined them and they indulged in campfire singing.

Robson Green and his mum Anne

Although she didn’t appear on Weekend Escapes, Robson maintains a wonderful relationship with her mum Anne, who lives with Alzheimer’s disease. As an inspiration to him, in a 2012 interview with Mail Online, Robson called his mother “the most beautiful, charismatic and intelligent woman I’ve ever met.”

He explained: “Her philosophy is, ‘There are a lot of beautiful people in the world and you should try to meet as many of them as possible’.”

To mark Mother’s Day 2021, Robson shared a photo on Instagram from one of his many walks in the countryside with Anne. The caption read: “Happy Mother’s Day to my kindest and most loving teacher and cheapest therapist I know. Sorry for driving you crazy most of the time mom.”
