According to Victoria’s Court of Appeal, human error that led to evidence in one of her cases being incorrectly disclosed won’t alter that.

Exotic dancer turns double killer Lindholm, who was reportedly the ex-girlfriend of murdered gangland figure Alphonse Gangitano, was initially imprisoned in 2013 for the murder of her lover Wayne Amey.

When she planned the murder of George Templeton, her first victim, in 2005, she was having a covert relationship with a devoted Amey.

Before going to a friend’s house for supper, Lindholm, who formerly used by the stage name “Colette” and worked for Maxine Fensom, the pioneer of strip clubs, gave Templeton a steak and pepper sauce meal that was drugged with sleeping pills and shots of Greek brandy so she’d have an alibi while Amey did her bidding.

She was found guilty by a jury of working together with Amey to murder Templeton. Although Templeton’s body has never been discovered, the jury felt convinced that he was either killed at the house he and Lindholm shared, or that he was kidnapped from there and killed elsewhere.

He may have been shot, and his body may have been mutilated before being discarded in Port Phillip Bay, witnesses testified at his trial.

Lindholm, now 49, has been referred to as a femme fatale, a black widow, and a seductress who attracted men to do her bidding.

In a Court of Appeal appeal, Lindholm’s attorneys claimed she was the victim of a serious injustice because the prosecution during her 2018 trial for killing Templeton used evidence that had been approved for admission.

A section of audio from one of the 88 phone taps that were supposed to be redacted was accidentally played to the jury due to a human mistake.

Amey told Lindholm on the video that “burying is very old fashioned” in the part that was permitted to be played. However, a previous section that was deemed inadmissible contained Amey’s assertion that Lindholm had a “guilty conscience”. Soon after, the jury members were informed that a mistake had been made.

On Wednesday, three judges determined that the error did not warrant allowing Lindholm to file an appeal. They claimed that the deleted text just contained a brief piece of supporting information during a lighthearted conversation.

We believe that the jury would fast forget it because it didn’t contribute anything to the significant body of admissible evidence that supported the Crown’s case.

In addition to the 25 years she received for killing Amey, Lindholm was given a sentence of 28 years for the murder of Templeton, of which she was required to serve 14 years. She has to serve 30 years out of the possible 39 years before being qualified for parole.
