Earlier on Thursday, several media reported this MasterChefProduction company Banijay UK launched an investigation into Wallace, 60, and said in a statement that he was “committed to his full cooperation throughout the process” but would not be involved in the series during that time.
“We take any issues raised seriously and have robust processes in place to deal with them,” a spokesman for the BBC, the broadcasting network MasterChefhe told PEOPLE in a statement. “We have always been clear that any behavior that falls below the standards expected by the BBC will not be tolerated.”
Wallace shared a few words with his fans on Instagram.

The outlet said Wallace then apologized and the women who complained were offered counseling.
