During Monday’s game against the Cleveland Guardians, it appears Atlanta Braves star Ronald Acuña Jr. suffered an injury while entering second base. Despite the obvious discomfort, Acuña continued to play. The play itself resulted in Acuña successfully reaching second base, marking his 40th stolen base of the season.
After the slide, Acuña was seen holding his right shoulder, prompting Braves trainers to come out and assess his condition. Given Acuña’s exceptional performance this season, his injury is a concern for both the team and the fans.
