It was during one of his TV commercials that the producers of the Telugu film Jersey (2019) spotted him and offered him a role in the film. His parents accepted the offer and Ronit made his debut as a child actor in the Telugu film Jersey, playing the role of young Nani. Ronit said in an interview about working in the film,
I missed 30 days of school while working in Hyderabad. My mother was with me throughout the whole process and sometimes my father also shot with me. Director Gautam told me what I should do. After watching the movie, the best compliments came from my parents, who told me I was great. I loved all the cricket scenes, especially the emotional ones. The scene where Nani bhaiyya slaps me on the road is my favorite. “

He was then roped in to be a part of the Hindi remake of the film Jersey, which was originally scheduled to release in 2020, but the release date was pushed to 2022 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
