Rosanna Scotto began her career as a television reporter at WTBS, Ted Turner’s UHF television station in Atlanta. During her tenure at the station, she worked as a reporter for two local programs and as an assistant producer for the evening news. Later, in 1982, she returned to her native New York to work as a reporter for WABC-TV. She was the host of Good Morning New York, which later became Live with Regis and Kathie Lee. After a year, she became a reporter for WABC-TV’s Eyewitness News.
In 1986, she left WABC to join Fox’s WNYW. She started there as a weekend host and reporter. Later that year, in 1994, she began anchoring the work version of Fox 5 News. She also guest-starred on an episode of Fox’s police thriller New York Undercover. She has also starred in films such as The Object of My Affection Lisa Picard Is Famous, Ransom, The Scout, Miracle on 34th Street and Ghostbusters.
