Rose Bundy is the daughter of American serial killer Ted Bundy, who the FBI considers to be “society’s most notorious and infamous serial killer.” While much is known about Ted Bundy, not much information is available about his daughter, Rose Bundy.

Rose Bundy was born on Sunday, October 24, 1982, in Florida, United States (age 37 as of 2019). Her mother, Carol Anne Boone, reportedly became pregnant with Rose while visiting Bundy in a Florida prison while he was on death row; however, it is unclear how exactly this happened, as death row inmates are prohibited from conjugal visits.

According to Ann Rule’s biography of Bundy, The Stranger Beside Me, it was a well-known secret at the time that prisoners bribed guards to allow them to have sex with their partners, and it is possible that Bundy bribed guards to have sex with Carol Anne Boone at the Florida Penitentiary. Another theory about Rose’s conception is that Boone may have handed Bundy an empty condom through kissing, and Bundy returned it in the same manner after filling it with semen.

Rose Bundy’s mother was Carol Anne Boone, who worked with Ted Bundy in the Department of Emergency Services (DES). When Carol Anne Boone first met Bundy in late 1974, she was already divorced twice and had two children. On February 9, 1980, Carol Anne Boone married Ted Bundy in an Orlando court.
However, in 1986, three years before Ted Bundy was executed, Boone divorced him. In an interview, when Boone described the first time she met Ted, she said:
“I liked Ted right away. We got along very well. He struck me as a rather shy guy with a lot more secrets beneath the surface than he appeared. He was certainly more dignified and restrained than the more serious guys in the office. He would get involved in some silly things. But remember, he was a Republican.”
In 2018, Rose Bundy’s mother died in a nursing home in Washington state. Rose Bundy’s father, Ted Bundy, was one of the most notorious serial killers in the United States. Ted Bundy was responsible for the kidnapping, rape, and murder of countless young American girls and women. After multiple trials, Ted Bundy was executed on January 24, 1989. Before his execution, Bundy confessed to at least 30 murders; however, some believe that number may be higher. According to reports, Rose is not Carol Anne Boone’s first child. She also has a teenage son, James, who she had with her ex-wife.

Although Ross was Ted Bundy’s first biological child, he was the adoptive father of Molly, the daughter of his ex-girlfriend Elizabeth Kendall (aka Lizzie Kendall) and his ex-wife.

After divorcing Ted Bundy in 1986, Carol Anne Boone left Florida for Washington with her daughter Rose Bundy and son James, and has not been reported by the media since then. Some people believe that after leaving Florida, Boone and her daughter Rose may have changed their names. Ann Rule, a friend of Ted Bundy and author of “The Stranger Next to Me”, said of Carol Anne Boone and Rose Bundy:
I purposely avoided learning about the whereabouts of Ted’s ex-wife and daughter because they deserve privacy. I don’t want to know where they are; I never want to be caught off guard by reporters’ questions about them. I just know that Ted’s daughter has grown into a fine young woman.”
On January 31, 2020, Amazon Prime’s new documentary, “Loving a Killer,” premiered, showcasing interviews with multiple women who were either his girlfriends or survivors of his vicious attacks. However, none of them spoke about Rose Bundy and her whereabouts.
