RS Sodhi Steps Down As Amul MD
RS Sodhi has resigned as Managing Director of GCMMF (Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd) which markets its products under the Amul brand.
When contacted, He confirmed PTI that he has resigned from the post of Managing Director. Sodhi joined Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd as a sales officer over 40 years back and became its MD in June 2010.
He was on the extension for the last 2 years and he is also the president of the Indian Dairy Association.
Sodhi has been replaced for an interim period by Jayan Mehta, who was Amul’s incumbent chief operating officer.
