Kornbread “The Snack” Jeté has a lot to be thankful for this holiday season.
The RuPaul’s Drag Race The Season 14 contestant celebrated one year cancer-free and a 150-lb weight loss. in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

“It feels so great to be here a year later and I have so much to be thankful for! This past year has been CRAZY! But I’m so happy I got through it,” Kornbread explained in her post, which featured before and after photos after.
In addition to undergoing a physical transformation, the reality TV star said she feels healthier and received plenty of praise in the comments section.
Drag Race fan favorite Jiggly Caliente left a comment that read, “Congratulations on being cancer free. ❤️❤️❤️.” Fellow Season 14 star Kerri Colby wrote, “Wowwww sis!😍.”
Kornbread revealed in September 2022 that she had been diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the small intestine. On its website, the Cleveland Clinic describes adenocarcinoma as a type of cancer that develops in the glands that line organs and can spread to different parts of the body.

While symptoms can vary depending on the area of the body that is affected, the medical center advises that treatment may include surgery, chemotherapy or radiation therapy. Kornbread urged her followers to get routine checkups as she posted her diagnosis on Instagram.
“I’m saying this to let everyone know that no matter how young you are, PLEASE GO FOR REGULAR CHECKUPS. I’m glad I caught mine at this stage. A lot of health things will change for me and I’m grateful for all the support . Ready to get back on stage again,” she wrote.
The drag superstar also shared with her fans that she’s staying positive, adding in the caption, “I’m 100% fine and it’s early stages so I’ll be back to normal soon. Absolutely curable!” She echoed the same sentiments in post on Xformerly known as Twitter, in October 2022.

“I’ve done so much in such a short time and that’s why I’m holding my head high! I competed in Drag Race, became Miss Congeniality, shared the stage and screen with such idols, and even did ads and commercials. Cancer tried to scare me, but these are the reasons I thrive,” her tweet read.
