Russell Brand accused of rape, sexual assaults and abuse by 4 women including one aged just 16

RUSSELL Brand is accused of raping, sexually assaulting and abusing four women, including one who was just 16 at the time.

The explosive claims – which the former movie star has denied – include Brand raping the woman against a wall in his LA flat.

In a bombshell exposé in The Times this afternoon, four alleged victims claimed Brand assaulted them between 2006 and 2013 at the height of his fame.

At that time, he was a presenter for BBC Radio 2 and Channel 4, and he also recorded leading roles in Hollywood films.

Their claims range from rape to sexual assault, to emotional and physical abuse.

The first claimed that the comedian raped her against a wall in his home in Los Angeles.

Called Nadia (not her real name), she said she and Brand had previously had consensual sex, but she told her to “bring a friend” next time.

It comes as…

According to Nadia, when she arrived, Brand met her naked and told her that his “friend” was already in the bedroom waiting for them.

She said: “I tried to run away from him and I slipped off the wall. And then I went to another wall where there was a picture. A huge picture.

“And my bag actually got stuck under it, and it’s still on my arm. And at this point he’s grabbing my underwear, pulling it aside.”

She stated that Brand then pushed her against the wall and raped her without a condom.

Nadia claimed that Brand apologized to her when she texted him “When the girl [says] no, means no” after she was treated at a rape crisis centre, saying he was “very sorry” and would “make it up to her with love and kindness”.

Another claimed he forced her to perform oral sex until she choked when she was just 16 and had to punch him in the stomach to get him to stop.

Brand would have been 31 years old then.

The girl, who has been given the pseudonym Alice, also claimed he called her “baby” during the three-month abusive relationship.

She claimed he asked her to save his name in her phone as “Carly” and sent a car to pick her up from school and drive her to his house, she even claimed the taxi driver begged her not to go inside.

Alice told reporters about their first “date”: “I remember I was wearing a red flowy dress and big platform shoes, my hair was blown out and I was wearing make-up.

“But I by no means looked like a woman. I was a child dressed up for dinner.”

She also claimed he asked her to confirm her age and said: “I don’t care if you’re 12… I need to know what my legal position is.”

After he revealed to him that he was a virgin, Alice claimed that Brand became “obsessed” with her being virginal and pure before they had sex.

Another sickening accusation is that he coached her on what to say to her parents and made her read Lolita, a novel by Russian writer Vladimir Nabokov in which the main character kidnaps and sexually abuses a 12-year-old girl.

Alice added: “Russell was acting like a groomer, looking back, but I didn’t even know what that was or what it looked like at the time.”

Speaking about the alleged sexual assault, she said: “I sat in bed against the headboard and he pushed his penis down my throat and I couldn’t breathe.

“It was just suffocating me and I couldn’t breathe, and I was pushing him away, and he wasn’t pulling away at all.

“I ended up having to punch him really hard in the stomach to get him off.

“I was crying and he said, ‘Oh, I just wanted to see your mascara run anyway’.”

She also alleged that he drooled in her mouth after the assault, and on another occasion he removed the condom during sex without her knowledge or consent.

His eyes became “black as hell”

A third alleged victim, known as Phoebe, who said she worked with Brando, claimed he sexually assaulted her before threatening legal action if she spoke out.

In her description, she spoke of Brando’s eyes being “black as hell” as he allegedly pinned her to the bed and tried to have sex with her.

And the fourth woman accused him of sexually assaulting her, as well as emotionally and physically abusing her.

According to the article, the women don’t know each other and felt compelled to speak out due to Brando’s rise as an online influencer.

As well as the four women’s direct allegations, two former cast members who worked with Brando on Big Brother’s EFourum claimed they felt like they were working as “pimps” for the star as he made them approach young audience members instead of him to meet after the show .

A detailed examination of the claims will be broadcast on Channel 4 tonight, with a special episode of Dispatches at 9pm.

Brand was treated for sex addiction in the US in 2005, but The Times report claimed the “more sinister behaviour” was an “open secret” among TV bosses.

Brand denied all the allegations against him overnight, before they were published, characterizing them as “aggressive attacks”.

The actor posted a video on YouTube in which he said he “absolutely denies” the claims and that his previous relationships had “always been consensual”.

While admitting he was “promiscuous” at the height of his fame, he vehemently denied any criminal aspect to his behaviour.

Kirsty Gallacher, Brando’s sister-in-law, appeared to support him as she shared the two-minute clip on her social media.

She posted a link to the post on her Instagram story, accompanied by a red love heart, although it has since been deleted.

The comedian, 48, also received support from controversial internet personality Andrew Tate, who slammed the claims against him as a “matrix attack” and “madness”.

However, Brando’s wife Laura Gallacher has yet to publicly comment on the allegations and appears to have deleted her Instagram.

The couple tied the knot in Oxfordshire in 2017 and share two children, with Laura recently pregnant with their third.

Russell Brand video transcript in full

Hello, you are amazing.

This is not the usual type of video we do on this channel where we criticize, attack and undermine the news in all its depravity because in this story I am the news.

I received two extremely disturbing letters – a letter and an email.

One from a mainstream media TV company, one from a newspaper, lists a litany of extremely outrageous and aggressive attacks as well as some pretty stupid stuff – like my community festival should be stopped, so I shouldn’t be able to attack mainstream media narratives on this channel .

But amid this litany of stunning, rather baroque, attacks are some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute. These accusations relate to when I was working in the mainstream – when I was in newspapers all the time, when I was in movies, and as I’ve written about extensively in my books, I was very, very promiscuous.

Now, during that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were absolutely always consensual. I was always transparent about that then, almost too transparent. And now I’m transparent about it.

And when I see how that transparency has metastasized into something criminal that I absolutely deny, it makes me wonder if there is some other agenda at play?

Especially when we’ve seen coordinated media attacks before – like with Joe Rogan when he dared to take a drug that the mainstream media didn’t approve of and we’ve seen a series of headlines from outlets around the world using the same language.

I’m aware that you’ve been saying in the comments for a while now ‘Watch out Russell, they’re coming for you, you’ve come too close to the truth, Russell Brand didn’t kill himself’.

I know a year ago there was a flurry of ‘Russell Brand is a conspiracy theorist, the right wing of Russell Brand’ articles.

I am aware that the media are calling, sending letters to people I have known for years.

It was clear to me, or at least it seemed to me, that there was a serious and concerted plan to control these kinds of spaces and these kinds of voices, and I mean my voice along with your voice.

I don’t mind them using my books and my attitude to talk about my promiscuous consensual behavior in the past. What I seriously deny are these very very serious criminal charges.

It is also worth mentioning that there are witnesses whose evidence directly contradicts the narratives these two major media outlets are trying to construct in what appears to me to be a coordinated attack

I don’t want to go into this any further because of the serious nature of the allegations, but I feel like I’m under attack and it’s clear they’re working very closely together

Obviously we’re going to look into this matter because it’s very, very serious. In the meantime, I want you to stay close, stay awake, but more importantly than all of that if you can, please stay free.
