Ryan Reynolds won’t let Martha Stewart have the last laugh.
The Deadpool & Wolverine star, 48, responded to Stewart’s viral comments about him being “not as funny” off-screen as he is on-screen in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, November 2.
After Stewart, 83, made a statement at Bilt Rewards in November Rent for free game about Reynolds, who she said was her neighbor in Bedford, N.Y. Reynolds wrote, “I wouldn’t agree with her. But I tried it once.”
“The woman is unexpectedly quick. She really closed the gap after a mile or so,” he added.

During it Rent for free Bilta CEO and founder Ankur Jain asked Stewart which celebrities the respondents named the most fun to hang out with.
“He’s probably only on the list because he covers up in his movies and you can’t see his face — Ryan Reynolds, is he one of them?” she asked before adding, “And you want to know something? Not so funny in real life. No, he’s not that funny. He is very serious.”
After declaring that her personal picks would be Brad Pitt and George Clooney — and mentioning the likes of Snoop Dogg and Taylor Swift — Stewart admitted that she would “take Ryan [the list]and I would put someone else in.”
“He’s a good actor,” the lifestyle guru told Reynolds. “He may act funny, but he’s not funny. Maybe he’ll get funny again… I’ll get in trouble.”

Stewart appeared on the program to promote her new cookbook, Martha: Cookbook: 100 favorite recipes, with lessons and stories from my kitchenwhich was published on October 22.
The premiere of the film was also held last month Martaa new Netflix documentary by RJ Cutler that recounts events from the legendary life of the culinary icon.
