A South Carolina woman who allegedly had three times the blood alcohol level when she crashed a golf cart and killed a bride on her wedding day in April 2023 is now out on bond.
Jamie Lee Komoroski, 25, posted $150,000 bail Friday, according to court and jail records from the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center. She was previously denied bond in August.
Post and Courier noted that if Komoroski — who faces charges of reckless homicide by vehicle and three counts of driving under the influence causing death or serious bodily injury — is not arraigned by March, she would be placed under house arrest in Charleston County.
The prosecutor told the newspaper that the March trial deadline was not realistic and that “the judge knew that when he granted her bail.”
Komoroski’s release comes 10 months after she was allegedly under the influence when she crashed her car into a golf cart carrying newlyweds Samantha Miller and Aric Hutchinson.

Charleston County Coroner Bobbi Jo O’Neal previously told PEOPLE that Miller, 34, died at the scene on April 28 of blunt force injuries.
Her husband has since had “reconstruction surgeries, numerous broken bones and a brain injury,” according to his mother’s GoFundMe page. Two other people were reportedly injured but survived.
Komoroski’s attorney, Chris Gramiccioni, released a statement to PEOPLE on Saturday.
“We have consistently maintained that Jamie is not a flight risk or a danger to the community, and she is now looking forward to demonstrating her continued commitment to rehabilitation after being released from pre-trial custody,” he said.
WCSC reported that Komoroski will only be allowed to leave the home for medical emergencies or court orders, and will be required to wear a secure continuous remote alcohol monitoring device.

Media previously reported that Komoroski had an alleged blood-alcohol level of 0.261 percent, citing a toxicology report from the South Carolina Department of Law Enforcement. The state legal limit is 0.08.
WCSC also noted that witnesses said she appeared “dazed and confused” after allegedly driving 65 mph in a 25 mph zone before the crash. Komoroski also alleged in the affidavit that she nearly passed out when police asked her to take a field sobriety test.
Miller and Hutchinson had just left their wedding that evening, while Komoroski reportedly spent her night “bar hopping.” Hutchinson filed a wrongful-death lawsuit on behalf of Miller less than a month later, according to records reviewed by PEOPLE. The lawsuit alleges that “by the end of the night, Jamie Komoroski was very and dangerously drunk.”
During Komoroski’s hearing in August, where she was initially denied bond, Miller’s loved ones gave impact statements. “She didn’t just kill my child,” said Lisa Miller, the bride’s mother. “She killed us all.”
At the time, District Judge Michael Nettles called it “a very tragic situation for all concerned.”
