Idris Elba has an instantly recognizable scent, according to his wife Sabrina Elba.
While talking to PEOPLE exclusively about being named an ambassador for Calvin Klein’s iconic Eternity fragrance franchise alongside her husband, Sabrina, 35, talks about how the actor smells.
“Idris has a musk that he uses as a body oil, and anyone who knows him knows that’s his scent,” the model says of the former PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive, 51. “I love him. To me, he embodies him.”
Idris and Sabrina first met at a party in Vancouver while the actor was filming a movie The mountain between us. The couple then tied the knot during a three-day wedding extravaganza in April 2019.

According to Sabrina, her husband also has a unique sense of style – no matter where he goes or what he does.
“For me, Idris is certainly simple, timeless and sexy. He doesn’t have to lift a finger,” she says. “He just walks out the door, this confident hot guy. He can be in flip-flops and a sweatsuit, and I’m just like, ‘Wow, you’re going to be on the best-dressed lists.’ And he always does,” adds Sabrina. “He’s effortless.”
Idris, for his part, says of his wife: “I think Sabrina is fresh because she likes the latest and the coolest. And she’s elegant no matter what she wears, whether it’s a tracksuit or a ball gown, she looks elegant.”

When it comes to the couple’s red carpet fashion, Sabrina says, “If we could coordinate and wear the same colors, I would really love that.”
“Idris not so much. I love the idea of couples dressing and when couples do it I just think it’s the cutest thing ever,” he further explains. “Idris doesn’t like it.”
Idris defends himself, however, stating, “When everything matches, matches and you look like twins, I’m like, ‘Oh man.’ ”

Through their partnership with Calvin Klein, the couple stars in the campaign for the new men’s and women’s Aromatic Essence fragrances from the Eternity portfolio.
The campaign shot by famous photographer Mert Alas, the Elbas embrace and channel their love story. The global advertising campaign spans digital, social, print and TV.
“There were high expectations leading up to it,” Idris tells PEOPLE of working with Calvin Klein. “I think Sabrina and I were both like, ‘Wait, whoa.’ And I was like, ‘Oh my God, I really have to look really hot in this thing, and you’re just going to pull it off, because you’re just gorgeous.’ ”
“We did it in a way that felt so natural, so easy, and it shows black love in a way that I don’t think is seen enough — I love the idea of that,” adds Sabrina.
