Sabmon is from Kayamkulam in Alappuzha district in the state of Kerala, India. He became interested in acting at an early age and participated in sketch, mime, stand-up and drama competitions as a student. His entry into Bigg Boss Malayalam shocked almost everyone as he is a very controversial person and has insulted celebrities like actor Mohanlal, singer Rimi Tomy and many others through his Facebook account using abusive words.

Sabumon is a law graduate from University College, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. After completing his studies, he started working in the sales and operations department of Lufthansa Saudi Arabia. But he quit his job after a few years to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. Later, Sabmon got the opportunity to host the popular Malayalam comedy television show Tharikida, which made his name Tharikida a household name. After this, he received many offers from the Malayalam film industry. His first Malayalam film was Nakshathrakkannulla Rajakumaran Avanundoru Rajakumari (2002), in which he played the role of Bhaskaran. Other Malayalam films in which he has acted include “Katha” (2009), “Punyalan Agarbattis” (2013), “Karma Cartel” (2014), etc.
