Sai Sudharsan aka Bharadwaj Sai Sudharsan was born on Monday, 15 October 2001 (age 21; as of 2023) in Venkatesa Agraharam, Mylapur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. His zodiac sign is Libra. He studied at DAV School in Chennai and later at Santhome High School in Chennai and played many cricket matches for them.
He was interested in cricket from an early age and played tennis with his older brother on the grounds where his father practiced. Later, he received his bachelor’s degree in commerce from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College, Chennai. He continued practicing and made the state team.

Sai Sudharsan was selected for the Tamil Nadu U-14 team and played many games for them. He scored 4 half-centuries in 5 games in the Under-14 South Zone Championship and finished fourth. He later played for the Tamil Nadu Under-16 and Under-19 teams. In 2017, he started playing for Triplicane Friends United Cricket Club (TFUCC) in the third division of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA). In 2019, he participated in the Vijay Merchant and Vinnoo Mankad tournaments and scored two centuries. He was selected in the India A squad for the 2019 U-19 Challenger Series, which consisted of three teams from India and Nepal. He played for Alwarpet CC of the TNCA First Division in the 2018 and 2019 seasons. He earned a reputation as a “heavy scorer” by being the top scorer in most games he played. In the 2019-20 Prayapatti Kings Shield Trophy, he became the highest run-scorer with 635 points at an average of 52.92.

He made his T20 debut for Tamil Nadu in the 2021 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy against Maharashtra on 4 April 2021 and scored 35 runs. He helped the team win the game.
He made his debut for Tamil Nadu in the Vijay Hazare Trophy against Mumbai on December 8, 2021, and scored 24 points. He played for Jolly Rovers Cricket Club in the TNCA Senior Division in 2022 and became the highest run-scorer in the 2022-23 Rajah of Palayampatti Shield Trophy, scoring 1003 runs in 9 games (13 innings) at an average of 91.18 , which includes 4 centuries and 5 half-centuries. He made his debut for Tamil Nadu against Hyderabad in the 2022 Ranji Trophy on December 13, 2022, scoring 179 and 42 runs in the first and second innings respectively.

Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL)
He was acquired by Chepauk Super Gillies for the 2019 Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL); however, he did not get any playing opportunities. In the TNPL 2020 season, he played for Lyca Kovai Kings (LKK) and emerged with a stunning performance of 87 points from 43 balls against Salem Spartans. He is the second highest scorer in the 2021 TNPL season with 358 points in 8 games with an average of 71.60 and a strike rate of 143.77.
In the 2023 TNPL auction, he became the most expensive player and was acquired by Lyca Kovai Kings for Rs 2.16 crore, which was higher than his salary of Rs 20 lakh in the IPL.
Indian Premier League (IPL)
In the IPL 2022 mega auction in the 2022 IPL season, he was acquired by the Gujarat Titans for a base price of Rs 20 lakh. He made his debut in the IPL against Kings XI Punjab on 8 April 2022 and scored 35 runs. In the 2022 IPL season, he scored 145 runs in 5 games at an average of 36.25 and a strike rate of 127.19, which also included a half-century against Kings XI Punjab.
In the 2023 IPL season against Delhi Capitals, he scored 62 runs off 48 balls to help Gujarat win the match. For his performance, he won his first Man of the Match award in IPL.
His skills and temperament were praised by Titans captain Hardik Pandya, who said in the post-match conference that he will play for India for the next two years. He said,

South African player David Miller also praised Sai’s batting at the post-match press conference and said that he is a very talented batsman. He said,
