Salim married Pakistani actress Mahira Khan on October 1, 2023 at Burban Pearl Continental Hotel in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region of Pakistan. The news of their wedding was revealed by Mahira’s manager Anushay Talha Khan, who posted a video on Instagram, in which Mahira can be seen walking towards Salim, who had tears in his eyes after seeing her.
Salim is Mahira’s second husband. She was preceded by her husband, television actor, director and producer Ali Askari. They separated in 2015 after eight years of marriage. They have a 13-year-old son named Azlan.
Mahira is best known for her role as Khirad Hussain in the romantic drama Humsafar, in which she co-starred with Fawad Khan.
