Salma Hayek Celebrates Her 57th Birthday with Beach Photoshoot: ‘I’m So Happy to Be Alive’

Happy birthday, Salma Hayek!

The actress celebrated her 57th birthday by posting a selection of photos from her beach vacation on Instagram on Saturday.

Wearing a red bikini, sunglasses and a hat as she swam in tropical-looking waters and relaxed on the sand in the birthday snaps, Hayek shared her joy at another year around the sun in the caption of the post.

“I am so happy to be alive and so deeply grateful for all the blessings!!!! 🎂,” she began.

“My loving family, my precious friends, my health, my job that keeps me going, my empowering team, my relationship with animals and nature and the love of all my loyal fans. Happy 57th birthday!!! 🎉,” the actress continued before than she repeated the inscription in Spanish.

Hayek has been documenting various tropical outings on Instagram all summer, including one late last month where she showed off her incredible figure.

In the non-descriptive shot, Hayek stood in the middle of a stairwell with one hand holding on to a wall and the other to a railing as she rocked a navy blue bikini top with matching blue and white knit low-waist skirt pants.

Not long before that, Frida the star shared a photo of herself beaming while holding a margarita in her native country.

“Margaritas taste better in Mexico,” Hayek wrote while wearing a Tiffany blue Gucci swimsuit and sleek black sunglasses.

Often sharing pictures of her swimwear, Hayek celebrated National Bikini Day on July 5 with a snap in a bikini in front of a pool.

“Happy #NationalBikiniDay! 👙,” Hayek’s inscription read at the time. “Can you believe the bikini has only been around for 77 years?! Let’s hope they don’t get banned and #notathrowback.”
