Samaje Perine started playing football professionally in 2017 and continues to do so. He began his professional football career after being selected by the Washington Redskins in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He gathered all the experience and talents necessary to play football professionally, because he has been doing it since high school. In high school, he was a running back for the Hendrickson Hawks football team, where he gained 1,492 yards and 12 touchdowns.
