Samuel began his career as a professional hip-hop dancer. In 2009, he participated in the reality show France’s Got Talent, where he became a member of the “Secrets of the Moonwalk” dance group, which performed dances to Michael Jackson’s songs.
In 2016, Samuel made his screen debut as the bandit Rufin in the TV film Tuer un Homme. The film won the Best TV Series Award at the 18th La Rochelle Novel Festival. In 2018, he played the role of an extra in the play Antony and Cleopatra at the National Theatre in London. In the same year, he played the role of Acaste in the play The Misanthrope.
In 2019, he played the role of Graffeur in the French TV series Platane. In 2020, Samuel Arnold played Julien, Emily’s colleague who is fashionable but picky, in the Netflix series Emily in Paris.

- Before entering the entertainment industry, Samuel wanted to work in web design, but because he found the courses long and tiring, he decided to become an actor. In an interview, he said:
I really wanted to be a web designer… I’ve always loved computers and everything, but I was like yeah! This is exhausting! So I applied to acting school. I thought I’d be taking an easier path, but then I realized that wasn’t the case.
- During the tough times, Samuel worked as a bartender at Wahaca Wimbledon, a Mexican restaurant in London, to supplement his income.
- In addition to acting, he also produced and directed a web series in Paris, La Petite Princesse.
