He was part of the Indian team that won the gold medal at the 2016 South Asian Games. He was also part of the Indian team that won the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup and the 2018 Dubai Masters. - Sandeep Narwal started playing kabaddi when he was just eight years old (grade four). To improve his kabaddi skills, Sandeep regularly competes at the U-14, U-17 and U-19 levels and faces tough opponents.
- He joined Kabaddi because he wanted to get a good job in the village so he could contribute financially to his family. Before that, he worked on a farm and helped his parents.
